Wake Forest University partners with Drowsy Driving Prevention Project to protect lives of its students
Our latest partner is a very special one. Wake Forest University was where Jim Berkowitz attended school. The University has kept Jim’s memory alive over the years in a variety of ways. In December 2020 Wake Forest launched an instagram campaign to promote Drowsy Driving Prevention among its student community as part of an end of semester safety effort.
The WFU Drowsy driving prevention messages can be found on Instagram @wfuthrive. We are grateful to the University for their ongoing commitment to our cause. The link to the post is here:

Sleep Awareness week 2021
Just as we observe Drowsy Driving Awareness Week when we turn the clocks back in November, the onset of Daylight Savings Time brings Sleep Awareness Week every spring.
This year Sleep Awareness Week will commence on March 14. Watch for new awareness messages from the Massachusetts Highway Safety Division, and reminders from our partners at AAA Northeast and the Safe Roads Alliance of the risks associated with tired driving.
You can also find drowsy driving prevention tips and resources, at any time of year, at www.drowsydriving.org
