Senate, June 29, 2017 – The Senate Bill to prevent driver distraction and motor vehicle fatalities (Senate, No. 2058), adopted the Preventing Drowsy Driving Law (Amendment #4) as part of omnibus distracted driving bill. Our Drowsy Driving bill has been refiled for the 2019 legislative session. We are grateful to our sponsors, Sen. Patricia Jehlen, and Representative Denis Provost, for their leadership.
